What is Dance Teacher Certification?

What does the exam consist of?
Our exam consists of 54 question and is primarily a multiple choice test, but your
comments and essay questions will count towards your total score. You must get an overall score of 90% to become recognized, certified and accepted by Dance & Gym USA®.
Any additional background information you provide including your levels of technical training and teaching experience will also count towards your final evaluation.

a free copy of "Free Tips for Dance Teachers"
There is a fee involved for the testing service and evaluation.
Standard Compliant Members:
The examination fee is for our standards compliant exam is 99.99 (lifetime fee).
There are no renewal fees or additional fees required after you have taken the exam and have been approved and accepted as a Certified Member of Dance & Gym USA.
The online exam consists of an evalution of your experience and qualifications, and
completion of the written exam. All candidates must have clearances as a qualification for teaching and/or working with children or minors.
When we receive receipt of your payment, we will email you a link to your exam and/or your study guide and free Dance Booklets which
include a copy of "My First Ballet Class" and "My First Tap Class". These 2 original booklets created by Dance & Gym USA® are only available
here and provide you with a valuable way to attract new young students!
You can take the test as many times as you need to for no additional charge.
If you need to repeat the test, we will email it to you.
Remember...we need to know your name, address, location, phone number and email address. Paypment by paypal online only.

Who is Dance & Gym USA®?
Founded in 1982 by Kathleen Bazzano, Dance & Gym USA is a dance studio and dance teacher training center. Ms. Bazzano holds a bachelors and masters degree in dance performance and has over 35 years of teaching experience, teaching at college levels, professional levels, elementary levels and recreational levels. There are no state, national or international standards required for dance studio compliance at this time. This is why Ms. Bazzano feels so strongly that testing is necessary, and she has made it affordable for all dance instructors and dance studio owners. Strict adherence to the testing will apply and all applicants will be carefully screened.
